preventing users from creating drive shares

I would like to know if it is possible to prevent a super
user from creating shares on a workstation. I have a small
LAN with static IP's, and I only want the users to be able
to directly access the file server. Thanks in advance,

If they are in the administrators or power users group, they can create
shares. If you do not need to remotely manage those machines via Computer
Managment, etc. Then you can uninstall file and print sharing on those
machines which will prevent them from creating shares. --- Steve
