Hi

When adding hyperlinks to text is there anyway of
preventing it changing colour? We are working on
powerpoint 97.

I have been working around it by adding a clear text box
above the text and making that the hyperlink but this is
proving very time consuming

Thanks
Stephen

I don't have ppt 97 in front of me right now...but can't
you change the "color scheme of the hyperlink texts"...to
match the color you want ...it to remain or be?

Yes, you can, but that will affect any other objects in the presentation
that use that color setting. It's safer to use Stephen's work around.

You can experiment with changing the color scheme for the slide(s) in
question, but you'll have to do it individually. (Or you may be able to do
it to multiple slides in slide sorter view, not sure. Try it on a copy of
your presentation, just in case.)

Basically, change the color scheme for the slide (Format/Color Scheme), but
do NOT "apply to all." That may work.
