preventing pop-ups on my webpage

Do they appear on your main page specifically? Bottom line, you should never
get popups on your page unless there's something on your page that causes
them. If you are using a dynamic DNS, where you have a domain name hosted
somewhere but you need to host your web site on your comuter then you'll
often get popups because the service that does the dynamic dns needs to make
money off advertising with your site. This doesn't seem to be the case
though because dynamic dns sites use a frameset to point to your site and
this is definitely not in a frameset.

Have you noticed anything on other sites? I say this because another great
cause of popups is spyware. Spyware programs will try to figure out what
you're looking at and give advertisements. They get their hooks into your
browser and windows so it's always good to scan for spyware using tools such
as Windows Defender, Adaware and spyware search and destroy.

Hope this helps,
