Preventing emails from being forwarded

Is there a way to prevent the forwading of messages after
they are sent to the original recipient?
 
Not a native function of Outlook (pre 2003). There are some 3rd party
add-ins that claim to have that ability. In Outlook, when you send it it's
gone and you have no more control. I seem to remember hearing that was a
feature of Outlook 2003, but I wouldn't swear to it.
