Hi,
This is getting VERY annoying. When I browse the net,
naturally I get assaulted with tons of pop ups. I have a
program that stops that, but then I find that a dozen
bookmarks were automatically added to my favorites
folder. How do I stop this? I'm running Windows 2K, IE
6.0.

.

Do you have an adware scanner installed? If not, I would
suggest downloading lavasoft's free adware scanner at
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

I suspect that you have unwanted adware program(s) on your
PC, which have created those favorites. If this the
problem lavasoft will detect and remove the offending
programs. In any case it's prudent to have and use this
software.

Good luck...

Yes I have three different spyware removers, Adware,
CWShredder, and Search & Destroy. These do not stop the
bookmarks from being added.
