By default, when you do almost anything in Windows Movie Maker, it
creates a folder in your My Documents folder called My Videos. Most
"special folders" such as your desktop and documents folders can be
placed anywhere you want (using Tweak UI or regedit to such appropriate
for her locations for example).
You can also set the location of the "my videos" special folder using
regedit. Unfortunately,Windows moviemaker will not only ignore the
location for this folder specified in the registry, but will also
overwrite it ith its own default choice.
I do not want a folder called "my anything" on my machine, and I
especially do not want a videos folder inside my documents folder.
Is there a way to prevent Windows moviemaker from doing this?
Thanks,
Michael
