How would I go about that. I know on internet explorer I
can prevent users from Downloading files, but is there a
policy setting to do this? Most of all I'd like to prevent
users from playing streaming music or video on their PCs.

TIA

You can use Group Policy to configure Web Content Zones and for instance only put
authorized sites in the trusted zone where downloads are allowed and block downloads
in the other zones. You can not be selective in what type of files to block with that
method however. ISA firewall proxy may be able to do what you want. Or you could
configure your firewall or possibly even ipsec policies [which can be managed via
Group Policy for machines] to block access to ports/protocols that the music/video
may use if it is not the usual port 80 tcp. You can also configure Internet
Explorers to not play video/music from a web page in tools /internet
options/advanced/multimedia. --- Steve
