Prevent password masking in IE?

Is there any way (any unofficial patch?) to prevent IE from masking
passwords with asterisks and make it simply show the characters? I guess it's
fine for office use, yeah, but at home, where I am the only one to ever
approach the PC, and nobody will ever look over my shoulder, it's just
annoying.

No.

Hi
I think the deal is you want to make sure you are typing
the password correctly. Cool. Yo: there are two simple
solutions.
1) Open notepad, and type your password in notepad. Then
copy the password, and paste it into the password box in
IE. How to copy: highlight your password, and then press
the two buttons "Ctrl" and "C" simultaneously. How to
paste: Press "Ctrl" and "V" simultaneously. YO.
(BTW, here's how to find Notepad: click on your "Start"
button on the computer, then click on programs, then on
accessories, and then click on "notepad")
2) learn to type better.

peace
