WinXP Home SP2

Is there a way to prevent a user from logging off other users via the Task
Manager (CTRL ALT DEL then logging off the username) or hiding the user list
altogether? I would prefer not removing anything from Start Menu, if
possible, just the Task Manager so another user cannot log me off at will
other than by restart or shutting down.

If so, please provide detailed steps on how to do this....I'm not a pro with
WinXP by any means, but can follow good instructions quite well.

Thanks in advance.

Here is an "unoffical" link that I was able to find, this involves editing
the registry so you can attempt these changes yourself, but if you are
uncomfortable, I would not recommend it. Windows XP Home is limited in
certain aspects as opposed to Professional however, I am not saying this is
the best way to go about it.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks

David,

First, thank you for taking the time to respond. Greatly appreciated. I'm
OK with editing the registry....have done that on a few occasions in the past.

However, I don't see the link you were talking about. Did you embed the
link in text somewhere or just forget to add it?

Thanks again.

Hey, no problem....I forget links and attachments all the time.

Found the reg edit and will give it a try and see what happens. Thanks again!
