It would really help us to know what version of Windows you are using.
How to set a CMOS (power-on) password. This requires a password before
Windows will load.

A word of caution: Be sure that you write down the password and keep it
in two places. If you forget your password you will be locked out of your
system, and require a special bypass in order to regain access to your
computer.
