Prevent deletion

Hello, can anyone tell me how to prevent particular cells from being
deleted? I looked under "protection" and am not sure it's what I need.

Hi
after formating the cells as 'locked' you have to protect the
worksheet. Goto 'Tools - Protection' for this.

Note: uncheck the 'locked' format for all cells for which you want to
allow changes
