Is there a way to protect certain folders from specific users or groups of
user in Windows 2000 and XP?
We don't even want them to copy the files
If you right/click the folder, go to security there are permissions there,
but nothing that prevents them from copying the folder.
Also, in the same screen you can add users to assign permission to, but it
doesn't seem to have any way to show the users in the company.
What I would like to do is prevent "Everyone" from doing certain things and
then give specific users access to the folders. (Easier than just going
through and assigning to each user).
