Hi,
Does anyone know how to disable the Connection Bar from ever being shown,
even during logon?
We want to upgrade Windows XP SP1 to Service Pack 2 on our terminal clients.
We have some student computer labs setup to use Terminal Server 2003. With
Service Pack 1, the version of the Remote Desktop software is 5.1.2600.1106.
When "Display the connection bar when in full screen mode" is not checked,
the connection bar is not displayed at all, even during logon, which has been
very good for us.
Service Pack 2 installs a new version of Remote Desktop, v. 5.1.2600.2180.
When "Display the connection bar when in full screen mode" is not checked in
this new version, the connection bar is displayed during logon, but
disappears after about 5 seconds. We do not want that bar to display at all,
not even for 5 seconds.
Does anyone know how to disable the connection bar from ever being shown?
We cannot go back to the previous version b/c there is a bug in it which
effects PowerPoint usage. Another version with the same problem is
5.2.3790.0, so that version would not work either.
Thanks!
Steve
