Presenting ppt. 97 on XP

How do I show ppt 97 presentations in Xp without it
corrupting text slides. Is there a quick fix?
 
I am also facing same problem when i try to transfer file from 2000 to 2003 powerpoint, if you get solution than do inform me.
 
Yes echo it do not show the fonts & pictures created in 97 & 2000 ppt files in 2003 powerpoint.

Since it doesn't show the pictures, and you're using PPT 2003, the first thing you need to do is open PPT and then go to Help/Check for Updates. Install the critical patch for Office/PPT.

After you do that, go to Format/Replace Fonts. Look in the list in the top box, which shows the fonts used in the presentation. Do you see ? beside any of them? If so, that font is missing on the 2003 computer. You need to embed it when you create the file if possible. See http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00076.htm for details. Or you need to install that font on the 2003 computer.
