Presenting by a disc

Is it possible to burn a powerpoint presentation onto a
dvd so you can view it from a dvd player? I made a
slideshow of family pictures, and I was wondering if there
is a way to view it on the television rather than the
computer only.

If not, do you know of any programs that allow this to
happen? I'd greatly appreciate any help. Thanks.
