Presenter view display problem

When I run presenter view on multiple monitors for any slide show, everything
works EXCEPT the current slide does not appear in its position on my laptop's
monitor (in presenter view). Instead, all that shows in that space is black,
as if it is a blank slide. But the display on the 2nd monitor is as it
should be, and the timer, slide thumbnails, and notes on my laptop all appear
as they are supposed to. Any suggestions or thoughts to make the current
slide appear instead of blackness on my laptop's monitor?

I am using Office Professional Plus 2007 (PowerPoint 2007) on a Lenovo
ThinkPad T400 running Vista SP1, and with switchable graphics (ATI Mobility
Radeon HD3400 in addition to the Intel GMA chipset integrated graphics). The
problem occurs whether running on the integrated graphics or the discrete ATI
card.

Unfortunately neither the Intel GMA nor the ATI chipset allow me to change
the settings under the troubleshooting tab to set acceleration back.
However, I will try fiddling with the settings through ATI's control panel,
as well as perhaps disabling hardware acceleration in PowerPoint, and see if
that works (tomorrow, when I have access to a second monitor/projector).

Thanks

Hi, I'm having the same problem and the hardware acceleration didn't do it. Did you ever find a solution?

I encounter the same problem on a lenovo X61 machine (GMA chipset).
The slideshow is not presented in the presenter view, instead i see a
black box only. All the other information are present in the presenter
view.
I would appreciate any advice, thanks!

Aparently, the only change in the presenter view "slide" happens when
i black or white the ("B" or "W") the presentation screen, then, the
presenter view slide changes from black to white ("W") and when i
unwhite or unblack it changes to black again.

Even more strange: one slide of the slideshow works fine in the
presenter view, the black slide at the end that says "click to
end ...", this one is properly visible in the presenter view.
And I did update my graphiccard driver via lenovo but no improvement.
Again, thanks for any help...
