Can I have a presentation with notes, so that when I present it to the
audience, they can only see the ppt on the screen while I'm seeing the ppt
with my notes as a guide?

Thanks,

Mike

If your computer has multi-monitor support (check your desktop properties,
ensure that the second monitor has "Extend my Windows desktop on this
monitor" checked), you can enable Presenter's View (Click Slide Show > Set Up
Show. Put a checkmark on Show Presenter View. Click Ok), which allows you to
see the notes during slide show.

As long as your laptop will support multiple monitors.

Slide show > set up show tick presenter view and show on secondary monitor.

Rightclick the desktop
Choose Properties
On the Display tab of the properties dialog box, you'll see a checkbox for
"Extend my ..."

If there isn't one there, it probably means that your computer doesn't support
this feature.

You may need to have an external display plugged in to make this setting
available rather than grayed out.
