Could anyone point me in the direction of some good online tutorials on the
basics - or do's and dont's - of presentation design please?
I'm not looking for Powerpoint tutorials ( although new to it, I can find
lots of help here and online for specific problems) but really a general
overview of how to go about using the tool of powerpoint to get a good,
interesting, presentation that works for plan and design of project.
Sort of basics of learning the trade, so to speak..
Regards
PJ

Thank you... it's of some help, however it doesn't seem to cover the aspects
of design 'rules' and 'best practice' but rather concentrates on HOW to do
something in powerpoint - which is of less interest to me..
Thank you for the reply and help in any event, it's very appreciated.
regards
PJ

I like the Non-Designers Design Book by Robin Williams and Interactive By
Design by Kristof & Satran. For specific design suggestions on
PowerPoint presentations, you might check out "Five Ways to Reduce
PowerPoint Overload" by Cliff Atkinson and Rich Mayer. It is available
for free at:
