I have Powerpoint 2000 on my PC. I have made up a
presentation with pictures, data, wave sounds and edited
tracks from music CD's. The presentation plays perfectly
on my own PC but when I burn onto a CD and attempt to play
it on another PC it plays everything, including the wave
sounds but not the music tracks, why is this happening?
Hope someone has the answer.
Thanks,
Jim.

Hi Jim,

Had the exact same problem. If you are using MP3 files you
can not embed them into the presentations, you must
use .WAV files, in saying that if your .WAV files are over
50 Meg you are toast. But what you need to do is open
Power Point, go to Tools, Options and than on the General
Tab "Embed links larger than". Change this to 50000 meg
and than you are fine.
Hope this makes sense and helps

How did you put the tracks from the music CD onto your
presentation data CD? they also have to accompany your
presentation.
