Hi everybody,

I am first time in this group - hope to get an answer for my problem.

I have seen a PDF version of PowerPoint presentation where the effects
between slides were preserved (slides, pixelisation etc).

How to produce such PDF PP presentation?

Do I need to set the very options in Power Point or Adobe Distiller?

Kind regards,

Pawel

A PDF can have page transitions, although they are not very intuitive to
set/program. The presentation you viewed was most likely created in
PowerPoint, then output to a PDF and edited in Adobe Acrobat to add the page
transitions. Check the Adobe website for info on slide transitions, also
Steve Rindsberg has a lot of PDF info at:

There's no real user interface in Acrobat for adding/editing slide
transitions in a PDF, but if you use either Adobe's PDFMaker add-in (the
toolbar that gets added to PowerPoint when you install Acrobat 4 or later)
OR our Prep4PDF addin ( http://www.pptools.com ) it will convert your
PowerPoint slide transitions into the *closest equivalent* PDF page
transitions. Not all PPT transitions have reasonable equivalents.

Hello Pawel,

There appear to a lot of different reasons why customers are choosing *.PDF
as a format for distributing presentations.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) have some suggestions as to
what additional capabilities could be added to PowerPoint which would
eliminate you need to convert your presentation to a *.PDF format, don't
forget to send your feedback to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also why it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)

Hmmm....

Not gonna sneak anything past under JohnO's nose, nuh-uh.

Yep... here's how to fix the export problem... don't export it <g>.

Doctor, it hurts when I do this.

Dr: Don't do that.

LOL, obviously I don't believe Ppt/Office should do everything but shine my
shoes. :-)

OTOH, it shouldn't actively interfere if you've worked out a way to do it.
