Two people having different OS (WIN XP, WIN 98) but same Office 2000, which is running from network, not working simultaneously, many times file got corrupted
There is no issue with the H/W.

Is there any way we can prevent the file to get corrupted?

Have the users copy the presentation to their local system. They can edit the
file and save it to their hard drive. Then they can move it to the network
drive. PowerPoint doesn't do well with some networks. See:

Are you on a network?
