Hi,
I seem to be experiencing a fault with IE 6.0.29. Typing an address into
the
address bar and hitting return (or clicking the Go button), the address is
not auto-completed with the "http://" prefix, nor does the browser attempt
to
access the URL. This problem seems to have appeared in tandem with a
refusal
by the browser to auto-complete previously accessed URLs.
The autocomplete preferences are set to complete web addresses and forms
but
this doesn't seem to have any effect.
Entering an address into the bar with the "http://" prefix explicitly
included results in normal functioning. The URL is requested and the page
retrieved.
Any ideas?
