W2k native forest, all DCs are W2k SP3. The problem is as follows: one of the DCs (name it dcA.domain.com, forest root domain) is configured to use external time source. However, when you perrofm
dcdiag /v /c
on that DC, last portion of results (FsmoCheck) shows one of the other DCs (name it dcB.domain.com) from the same domain as "Time Server Name" and "Preferred Time Server Name". The DC shown there, dcB.domain.com is explicitly configured (via net time /setsntp) to sync time from dcA.domain.com. We are experiencing several problems with time syncronization across the forest, and I suspect that this configuration shown by dcdiag indicates the source of the problem.
Question: these values, where are they get from? Are they cached somewhere in the registry? Somewhere else? Is there a way to change them?
Thanks in advance,
Dmitry V. Korolyov.
