Preferred logo format

Good Day

In Access 2003 is there a preferred image format for reports. I inserted a
..gif logo that has a size of 51KB and my database blew up by 3MB's! I have
tried different graphic formats with similar or worse results.

I need to use this logo a couple of times on each report so the way things
are going, this database is going to be enormous. I don't remember this
issue in previous versions...........

Does anybody have any insights or suggestions? Linking to a picture on the
server is not an option.

Hi CJ,

Create a subreport with your logo / letterhead stuff on it and use the
subreport in other reports.

The image only needs to be stored once and when/if it changes you only have
one place to make alterations.

And use a bitmap if possible.
