Preference box contents too large

This is just one example. I click Print, {Epson C-60}, then Preferences. The
boxes that show for you to make changes, Portrait, Landscape, Ink Monitor,
etc. are the same size as always, but the contents are larger preventing me
from seeing everything. In this particular box, I was able to see both ink
cartridges and their contents. Now I only see the top of the first one. It's
the same as if the resolution was way off for your monitor, but it is only
in these setup boxes. It is not only for the printer. Information and
preference
boxes in other applications are also affected. Also, I cannot drag these
boxes
to a larger size. Never could.

Could it be something in Accessibility? Or Display/Appearance? Everything
else is normal. OE, Websites etc. This wasn't easy to explain. Hope you get
the gist.

Thanks,
Bruce

Hi Bruce,

If I understand you correctly, some boxes are too large and you can't
see their bottom to make changes.

A temporary solution would be to right click on the desktop, choose
properties > Configurations tab and set the screen resolution slider
to 1024 x 768 pixels. Ok your way out. This will make the letters too
small, though it will permit you to see the whole box you are trying
to modify. After doing the modification, repeat the procedure to set
the resolution you usually work with.

Maybe someone else can help you to get to the bottom of this.

Hope this helps.

No, that makes the entire thing smaller. This is hard to explain, but I'll
try this.

You're looking at, lets say your home page. You take a magic marker and
divide the screen down the middle and across the middle, like a large +. Now
you can only see what is in the upper left quarter, but it's full screen
size. Like an e-mail picture that's too big so you have to use both scroll
bars to see the whole pic, but I don't have that option. I can only see the
upper left of the pic period.

This is so hard to explain, don't feel bad if you don't know what I mean.

Thanks for the reply,
Bruce

Older programs have problems like this if your DPI isn't standard. in Display, Settings - Advanced - General and set to 96DPI.

That's where it was set. 96 DPI.
Thanks for the reply.

Hi Bruce,

When I go to Office Word and click on ? > About Microsoft Word > I get
a screen with the top visible and cut-off just at the point where I
can not access disabled elements. It's just a small strip in the
bottom that isn't showing and I can't resize the screen, I can move it
though, but I can't reach the bottom.

To get around this I used the procedure I suggested.
From your explanation it seems your problem is more radical.
