precise MOTION PATH adjustments

I have 2 cubes on a slide. I have a rectangle covering the face of one of
them. I need to move this rectangle from the first cube to the face of the
second cube and back several times. To get the motion path laid out
correctly each time so that it covers the face of the cube, I need to make
some precise adjustments of the motion path. When I try to adjust them they
move in rather large segments and I can't find a way to move them a very fine
amount, either up/down or left/right. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Thank you for your assistance.

You can right click on the added motion path then select Edit Points. Adjust
the points using the mouse accordingly. Apart from that, I don't think
there's other way that you can do to make precise adjustments.

Use the guide lines and place them like a crosshair at the starting point
and the end point in the exact middle of the rectangle's position. Then you
can adjust the start and end triangles to this point.

Try putting a finger on the ALT key and moving the points after choosing
"edit points"

Thanks for your speedy help. Late last night (early morning) I was still
messing on my own and found that if I enlarged my work area to about 300%, I
could also make the adjustments I needed. I definetly like your ideas and am
going to try them. I give you what I ended up with just for future reference.

Thanks again.
