Prechecking address validity for SmptMail.Send

All--

SmptMail.Send will failover whenever the from address has a
non-existent TLD. Is there any way to check for this before I actually
call. Send?

Are you saying that it checks for a Top Level Domain at the point of send ?,
I didnt know it did this ?

I don't see any advantages in doing that. You can try to ping the
machine or something like that...
