Pre-requisite software for installing .Net 3.5 Framework

sIs it necessary to have 2.0 and 3.0 intalled on a client machine prior to
installing 3.5? Or will 3.5 installer install anything it needs from the
prior versions?

While you did not directly ask this. I thought it mentioning that win XP
or better is a prereqisite for 3.0 or higher.
