PRC error when connecting to Internet.

After a short period of time , when I'm connected to the
internet, my internet connection fails because of a RPC
error.

Does anyone know what problem in my Windows XP could
cause this error ?

hey watch out when using the Symantec web page as stated
in the other threads. Read what happened to me about 3-4
pages in on the post I made yesterday titled "loss of
dial up". I have not been able to connect to the internet
since I used the steps involved in removing the blaster
worm virus. As a matter of fact my computer ran better
with the virus as the loss of PRC really affects the rest
of the computer. BEWARE and proceed with caution. Yes
this is sent from work as the affected computer was at
home (FYI). Tim
