Hello,

Im trying to use the XP's feature 'Publish this folder on the web'. Im
trying to make my folder world-wide accessable so that i can access it
from any other place.

When I click that link [Publish this folder..], a window appears. It
gives me an introduction, then it asks me to select which files from
within that folder i would like to publish. I select all files. But
when I click next, it searches for something [i think it searches for
service providers] and then it says No available Services. Ive tried
this again and again still it gives the same message.

Has Microsoft turned off the support for this feature ? And yes, I am
also behind a strict firewall. My network administrator has requires
me to keep MS Firewall Client running all the time. Internet works
superb so I cant say there is any firewall fault. What's the problem
then ?

When I run mine, it displays MSN groups as a possible service provider. (i'm
on a network behind a firewall too)
Do you have MSN messenger installed? I don't know if it's necessary but
msn.com seems to suggest you may need it.
If this is an office environment, then before sharing files, check with your
IT manager that you won't get into trouble.

:( i dont see any service names. and no im not in an office
environment. any other way around to solve this problem ?
