Dear All,

I'm trying to print a presentation containing objects with
a gradual fill from 0% to 100% transparent. The objects
are placed over images to make them appear to blend into
the background of the slide.

They look fantastic during slide show BUT when printed,
the objects appear to graduate from the main colour to
white (rather than to transparent), masking the images
below!

Is this a known problem and is there a cure? I've checked
my printer drivers and they are up-to-date.

Thanks

Mine has done the same, and like you, my drivers are all current. It is a
persistent problem. I work-around the problem by saving the slide I need
full page as a tiff picture and printing it from a graphics program.

If I am printing hand-outs (actually I use them as presentation notes) I use
the hand-out wizard add-in.

Sorry, I don't have a better answer for you.
