PPTP using NT Workstation to Win2000 Server

Hi,

I have a Windows 2000 SP4 AD domain, which already has PPTP tunnels setup
using router to router in RRAS. 3 Servers replicate AD traffic through this
tunnel. It works fine.
If I try to connect to PPTP tunnel through local network using a Windows NT
4 SP6a PC it works fine, but when I dial the internet and then try to
connect using this same machine, I get a 721 error, stating the PPP did not
respond.

Any suggestions...

Hi Tony,

Check with the ISP you are dialing into and make sure they allow PPTP (TCP
port 1723) and GRE (IP Protocol 47).

I have checked with them and they say that they don't block any ports and
that all traffic is allowed to pass through. They specifically said that
PPTP works..

any other suggestions..
