ppt2007 problem

I am running a ppt 2007 compatible with older versions, packaged for CD,
presentation. On my Vista machine I have the following problem:

One presentations calls a slide from another presentation. After 5 minutes,
the slide from the second presentation switches to the first slide in the
second presentation; five minutes later the first slide from from the second
presentation switches to the first slide from the first presentation--all on
its on own. What is going on? Why can I not keep a slide on longer than five
minutes? All actions are supposed to be triggered by mouse clicks. What is
magic abut five minutes?

Yes, I am in Kiosk mode. Is there a way around the five minute limit? Or,
perhaps, kiosk mode is not necessary. I want the user to use the
presentation controls rather than just click to change slides.

You might be able to remove the "on mouse click" option on the transitions
to get out of having to use Kiosk mode.

You should set up your presentation play automatically if you used
Kiosk mode.
