Help!!!
In about a weeks time my mother retires and I have made a
presentation in powerpoint 2002 and need to send it to a
school that only has the previous versions. When we have
tried to save it and play it on the previous versions it
does not work correctly, all the timings change. We have
also tried to pack it and this has the same error.

If anyone has any ideas as to how we can rectify this
problem it would be grately appreciated.

Thanks

paul

PowerPoint doesn't control timing, so it will vary from system to system
depending on the resources available - - processor speed, disk speed,
available memory, system maintenance, etc. Your best bet, if the
presentation is to be played on other systems, is to design the presentation
without dependency on timing.

Paul,
Earlier versions of PowerPoint do not support the new animations and
features of PowerPoint 2002.

You need to turn them off and then sent the animations to ensure that they
will work with earlier versions. To do that select Tools | Options | Edit
tab. Tick the options under 'Disable new features'.

Now set the animations.
