ppt xml converter

I am trying to use powerpoint viewer 2007 on a ppxs file. I get the error
"powerpoint xml-binary converter has stopped working". I tried reinstalling
viewerl and also reloaded filer converter software.
 
Wow, what a hassle.

Do you have PowerPoint itself available? The Viewer is converting the file
to 97-2003 format so it can open it. (The Viewer doesn't truly "do"
2007-format files.) If you open the file in PowerPoint and Save As 97-2003
format (PPS or PPT), I believe the Viewer will be able to open it.
