I'm pretty sure this isn't something that came installed with PowerPoint or
Office 2007, although the trial may have been installed on your computer by
the manufacturer or your IT staff or something.
This utility seems to let you convert PPT files to various image types. I'd
imagine it converts the final slide -- or the edit view -- to an image. It
doesn't seem to advertise that it will convert a series of animations on one
slide or anything like that, so I am not sure why you assumed it would do
that. And if you had a trial version, I would have expected you'd try it to
make sure before purchasing it.
Anyway, you might contact the manufacturer of the add-in and see if they
offer this feature. If not, you might want to look into Shyam Pillai's free
Capture Show add-in I mentioned elsethread.

We bought this assuming that we could get all stages of an animated
or
"build" slide. At this point all I can get is the final composite
image.
anybody use this add-in?
Thanks
