Hello everybody,

does anyone know how to control an external Excel chart from PPT?
I have to make a flip-book in PPT with an imagebox as "screen". Every
image shown in the imagebox is related to a specific chart in an external
Excel workbook. Of course I should display both, image and chart, at the
same time in PPT.

Thanks for your help!
Michael

I'm not sure I understand what you're after here, Michael. How do you
need to control the chart? What do you need it to do?

Well, I should display successive around 300 pictures in PPT. For that
purpose I use an imagebox. The pictures are related to a chart in an
external Excel workbook. This chart have to be changed for every
picture. Finally I should display the updateed chart (Excel) and the
related pictures as some kind of flip-book in PPT. The idea is to make
it look like a moving picture and show at the same time the chart
(which contains information related to each picture). Hope I could
describe it more precisely. My problem is the speed the pictures (jpg
with 5kB) are shown. The update takes just to long. It doesn't really
look like a moving picture. Do you know how to load the images faster
and how to speed the chart update up?
