PPT file size triples from v2000 to v2002; in v2003 file 5x bigger

I have a PPT file that was created in v2002, when saved in
v2000, file size tripled. So, I upgraded to v2003. Now
the same file is 5x as large when doing a "save as" in the
version. What is going on? Thanks,

Liz,

Are you sure you are just doing a normal save as "Presentation" and not the
filetype called "PowerPoint 97-2002 & 95 Presentation"

As this option includes powerpoint 95 this will explain the massive increase
in filesize.

Just save as a "presentation (*.ppt)" and all should be well

I must admit I'm no quite ready to blame the new version just yet <g>.

I have exactly the same problem as Liz. My PP was 1.7Meg (created in 2000/2002) till I made couple of text edits in 2003,nowit is 14Meg. Looked at tips and saving without Fast Saves in Presentation format. Any suggestions?
