Can anyone tell me the most efficient way to use the hyperlinks under the
action settings to refer to a photograph and then return to the same page?
It's working very well, I have the photos as slides at the end of the
presentation. BUT the file itself is growing fast.

Thanks,
Chas

Hi Chas

I doubt it is the hyperlinks making the file large - they made add a few kb
but that's all. More likely it's the photos - you can compress these from the
tools menu when you do a save as or double click a picture and select
compress from the picture tab or (may fav - more work but better results) do
a cut/paste special - see here for a video demo:

Oh and make sure you have fast saves turned off - tools -> options -> save
-> untick allow fast saves

If it really is getting huge you could consider splitting the show into
smaller shows and linking them to each other. Personally I prefer to keep it
all as a oner if possible. Depends if you want to distribute the end product
really.

If you have more questions don't forget to include your version :-)
