I was fooling aorund and testing some stuff, and I inserted a new layout into
the slide master. Now I'd like to get rid of it, but I don't see any way to
do it. If I right-click a standard layout, I can delete/cut it, but when I
right-click the one I inserted, cut is disabled.

WTH?

Thanks, Echo -- it never crossed my mind. Head-slaps all around ...

You cannot delete a layout if there are any slides based on it.

heh. I got caught by the same thing not too long ago -- that's the only
reason I know about it! :-)
