Dave

I do a lot of CBT coding. I use Dreamweaver, Front Page, Flash and other
HTML based coding, all of which is burned on a CBT and run from the CD.

I am integrating PPT2000 Html into the CD, launching it from a link on an
HTML page that I create.

I would like to easily enhance links in the PPT to do other things like
launch a Flash or movie type file.

Does PPT 2003 lend itself to the HTML side of programming more so that
PPT2000?

Thanks in advance

Dave,

So, how long is a piece of string? PowerPoint itself and html are two
different things, IMO. The advantage of 2002 and 2003 is in the new features
including new animations available (no new animations in 2003, though). Many
of these new features will work in html. So, when published, you get
advances such as animations, paths etc.

As for html itself, I'm not convinced it is PowerPoint's role to do this.
But you should be able to hyperlink within PowerPoint to movies and Flash,
and get them to run when Published. This is something you can currently try.
I have used PowerPoint for image mapping successfully in html.

In my opinion, an upgrade is worthy for reasons of superior animations,
etc. But you may need to still use html editors for higher end, html
effects. Maybe read the following link, and give it a go with what you
currently have:

Thanks.

It isn't the effects that I want, it is the controlled navigation, slides in
succession for the student to follow with an occasion link.

The html side allows me to present this from html base files, jump into a
presentation and jump back out.

I was hoping that PPT2003 would enhance the html side for linking and direct
editing in html.

Thanks again!.
