I am seeking to make a powerpoint slideshow as an intro to a website. The
complete .pps file is time-based not mouse click.
Is the same is possible?

Thanx

You can easily make your show time based and not mouse click........
at the top of your show click on slide show......from the drop down choose
slide transition.........uncheck mouse click and check automatically
after....add the time you want each frame to stay for and you can add a
transition while you are here to.

Hi,

I guess it depends on whether you want it to play as an into, like Flash, or
download it. Best way would be to save it as html and run it that way. But
getting that html into you web code is not easy. Or you could look for a
program that wile export your ppt to Flash. You could try something like
Camtasia that will make a movie of your presentation show and convert to
Flash.

Flash is the best thig to use for stuff like this -- PowerPoint can do this
and as Glen said, you can save it to Flash using Camtasia. However, the
resultant file size will be too large for an intro.

If you have to do this in PowerPoint, then use something like Wildform Flair
to import your PowerPoint slide -- then fine-tune it a wee bit as required
and save it to a small sized Flash SWF from within Flair.
