I am saving as a ppt to pps. When I send it by email, it comes up as a
pps.ppt file and does not open as a show.

Also, I would like to have the music play with the slide show as it opens.
Currently, I have to send the music as a seperate file and have individual
save on desktop and then, play the ppt.

Thank you,

You need to unhide your file extensions in Windows. Otherwise, the default
extension gets appended to the back end of the file.

Or you can try selecting PPT Show (*.PPS) from the drop-down in the
File/Save As dialog instead of just typing in the PPS as the extension when
you name the file. Overall, though, I find unhiding file extensions to be a
better solution for a variety of reasons.

For instrux, see the Windows Setup info at

What type of file is the music file? Is it an MP3 or a WAV or something
else?
