When I look at a pps file in explorer, it does not have
an icon associated with it like I remember in 98SE/Office
2000. If I double click it, it will show the
presentation.
My problem is if the PPS file is an attachment in lotus
notes, it will not lauch -- notes does not know what kind
of file it is.
I tried using "open with" and associating it to
PowerPoint. In now opens rather than shows from
explorer, but now lotus notes will open it (not show it).
Somehome I guess the registry did not refect an
application to use for PPS files until I associated it
with PowerPoint. But now they open rather than show.
What can I do to "reassociate" the PPS files to show? I
have a feeling that that will fix my notes issue as well.
