Hi,

I've tried several programs to convert a 3 minute PPS (embedded audio) to
video and DVD. Nothing syncs the audio and video satisfactorily. Is there
another way to do this? Can I send the PPS file out to a video/audio
recording device that will keep the syncronization and good quality?

Thanks,

Marc

Hi,

I've tried everything from Wondershare to Power Video Maker (and a few in
between). Haven't tried Camstasia yet...but it's like $250 and I've read
mixed things about it. The PPS I created has very tight timings and
animations. I worked on it for weeks, but it's not much use if I can't make
it accessible as a video file or DVD. There must be a way to get it to play
as it looks on my HP 1430n Desktop. I'm still searching. Let me know.

Thanks,

Marc

You can download and try out a demo for free, I'm fairly certain.

I suggest you to try Moyea PPT to DVD burner which can convert burn
PowerPoint presentations to DVD with excellent quality. It can preserve
animations, graphics, transitions, audios and narrations from the original
PowerPoint Presentations, and generate DVD Menus to enable you to control the
playback with a DVD remote.
What's more, this program realized the perfect synchronization of the sound
and animation both in burned DVD and converted video, solved the problem of
the asynchrony of sound and animation which has been taken as a hard nut for
many years.

OK. One final attempt to post. Sorry to be brief but I'll go mad if I write
this all out again...

Camtasia has a free trial
QuickTime Pro is only $30
Adobe Premiere Elements is about $100 (I think)
MS have some free things you might want to try - Photo Story, Movie Maker,
Producer (which is an add-in for PowerPoint 2003 only).

Depends on the project - let us know how you get on.
