When I try to create a DSL connection in XP, I go through
the appropriate steps, but the selection for ... "Connect
using a broadband connection that requires a user name
and password" is grayed out. Only the 3rd option
("Connect using a broadband connection that is always on")
is available.
I have been through the support process that is supposed
to fix this (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?
scid=kb;en-us;320558). I deleted the "telephony" registry
and upgraded Windows XP. This did not correct the
problem, however after the upgrade,
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\Telephony still does not appear.
Can anyone help?
