I lost some pictures and believe they are in a file that won't open. I don't
know how they got there, but they won't open and have a ppp file extension.
My system keeps referring me to the Internet to see if there is a program out
there, but I can't find one. What do I do next?

How did you lose these pictures? (Procedure/incident that caused you to get
to this point...)

PPP File Extension:
http://filext.com/file-extension/PPP

"Enfocus Preflight Profile"
"PagePlus Publication"
"Parson Power Publisher"
"Picture Pump Project File"
"Point to Point Protocol"
"Punk Productions Picture"

Any of those sound familar? Anything on that web page ring any bells?

I downloaded a set of pictures from my JVC camera using JVC software, worked
on them, and went back a year later and I couldn't find them. I had Data
Doctors search my hard drive to see if I inadvertantly overwrote them, but
they found nothing. Then, I found this folder that is the right date and
size, but I can't open it.

Is it a file or is it a folder?
What error message do you receive while trying to open it?
What are the permissions on it?
Jim

Sorry. It says it's a "ppp file."
When I tried to open it, the message referred me to the Internet, where I
got this message:

File Type: Unknown

Description: Windows does not recognize this file type.

You may search the following Web site for related software and information:
