PP2007 Text wrapping (text chopping)

When I type into a text box it wrapps the text onto the next line as you
would want but it chops words in half so it is leaving half of the word at
the end of each line on the last line.

Any ideas what's wrong?

Nope, tried changing printers and it doesn't make any difference. I am not
even trying to print the powerpoint it just displays it like this all the
time.
 
Have gotten it fixed by copying and pasting the text back into next text
boxes. It seems to occur when using the placeholders from the template I am
using. perhaps the problem lies there.

Here's a thought: click within one of your oddly-broken text boxes, choose
Tools, Language and see what language the text box is set for. I don't know
this to be a fact, but it seems to me that if it's set for something other than
English, it'll use the hyphenation rules for the set language. The effect on
your English text might be something like what you describe.
