PP2007 text overlay on live video

Hi,

I just learned from the MS-PPT newsgroup that PP2007 will still not support
overlaying text over live video.

I cannot believe how far Microsoft Powerpoint has lagged in this one area.
Please convey to the development team that YOUR USERS WANT THIS FEATURE !
We've been waiting for it from '97.

If digital hotcakes power plugs can author this feature, why can't Microsoft
?

Microsoft developed DirectShow - why not have it collaborate with
Powerpoint.

I'd love to see it included in Office 2007

You might want to try Ovation and see if this work for your slide composition.

note: The current Trial always put the video in front (But its fixed now, and it will be in the next update)

Here's a serious ovation for heading in the right direction. I have posted
some questions on your trial forum about if your product's features are open
to vba automation...

Ovation is a simple PPT player and does not offer any scripting or user automation,
(I will check on the forum for your post )
