PP2002 Transitions & Effects

Unfortunately, I began developing a presentation using
some of the neat transition effects available in XP /
PP2002 BEFORE I realized that not many of them work on
any machine running anything less than XP / PP2002.
Saving the presentation as a lower level (2000 or '97)
doesn't work nor does the PP Viewer.
Any ideas for salvaging the presentation without having
to redevelop every transition / effect?

Two choices, remove the transitions/effects, or wait a bit for the new
viewer.
